THE NEW DAWN conference was

held in the summer holidays at

Walsingham in Norfolk and Julia was

one of the speakers. She presented

two workshops entitled, 'Learning to rely on the Spirit'.

The conference was held at the end of July and the beginning of August 2017 and attracted hundreds of delegates, some of whom attended Julia's talks.

Walsingham has been a place of

pilgrimage since the 11th century and the shrine there has had a pivotal role in the conversion of England to Christianity.

And it is Julia herself who has led countless people, young and old, into the Christian faith, the Eucharist

and the sacraments ... not only as a

catechist but as an author too.

Hundreds of people have had their

faith renewed and fortified by the straightforward way in which Julia shares her own faith and her insights in her book, 'Sanctifying the Spirit'.

She had the opportunity to discuss and promote her book with many of the conference delegates and some of the other speakers as well..

She was kept busy signing copies at this popular event for all who asked.

September, 2017: Julia was guest speaker at the Autumn meeting of the Diocesan Editors' Forum (DEF) at Farm Street, Mayfair, London. The combined circulation of all the Christian publications represented at the DEF is around one-third of a million (roughly 800,000 readership). There are currently some 155 editorial contacts in English-language Christian print and online media who subscribe to receive Julia's amusing articles. Together they serve millions of readers world-wide.

February, 2018. Julia will be leading the Catholic Women's League Branch Retreat at St. Rita's Retreat Centre, Honiton, Devon from Tuesday 6th February to Thursday 8th February, 2018 (inclusive)..
