JULIA LIVES IN DEVON with her husband and grown-up children having moved there some years ago. Alongside her many hobbies, she is an active member of her local church community. As a catechist in the Catholic tradition, she has helped lead people to Christ for nearly a decade in all types of sacramental preparation.

She has given talks and workshops on various aspects of the Christian life and also participated in leading retreats for young and old alike. Julia has gained a Masters Degree in Pastoral Theology from St. Mary’s University, Twickenham.

She has derived great joy from writing this, her first book, ‘Sanctifying the Spirit’.

Guided by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, ‘Sanctifying the Spirit’ delves into the many different facets of Christian life.

"But some people," she says, "are simply unaware that there is more to being a Christian than prayer, vocation, reconciliation and spreading the Gospel message."
